Practice Area: Immigration - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm is seeking an Intake Attorney for their office in Las Vegas, NV.Job Overview:The Intake Attorney will be responsible for managing the initial client intake process, identifying potential immigration relief, suggesting legal strategies, and overseeing intake paralegals and virtual assistants.Duties:Monitor the firm's case management software for live cases to vetReview intake sheets and documents from potential clientsIdentify potential immigration relief for potential clientsSuggest legal strategies and proposed services for potential clientsSpeak to existing clients regarding potential services outside of their current contractAnswer legal questions from or explain legal processes to potential and existing clientsCommunicate with and provide feedback to the sales team meeting with potential clientsOversee intake paralegals and virtual assistantsRequirements:2-5 years of Immigration Law ExperienceA team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with fellow associatesBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredInterpersonal skills of the highest caliberRecord of moving legal cases forward and an ability to manage a caseloadExperience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applicationsExperience with Case Management Software is preferredEducation Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degreeAdmission to the State BarAny relevant certifications in Immigration Law are a plusSkills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applicationsBenefits:The firm offers benefits like medical, dental, and vision insurance.
