Job Description:Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced process leader to oversee and optimize our Global Demand and Product Planning processing efforts across three distinct business units. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of demand planning principles and methodologies, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills to drive process improvements and foster collaboration across various teams and regions. This role is pivotal as it owns the demand planning process, instituting best practices, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment with the overall Integrated Business Planning (IBP) strategy.Work Location: This role is fully remote and may be based anywhere in the U.S.Key Responsibilities: * Ownership of Demand Planning Best Practices: Take full ownership of the demand planning process best practices across all three business units, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business objectives. * Demand Planning Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive demand planning strategy aligning with IBP and demand control processes. * Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within demand planning activities, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency. * Best Practices Implementation: Drive the adoption of industry best practices in demand planning methodologies, forecasting techniques, and demand sensing technologies. * Global Demand Aggregation: Serve as the central point of contact for global demand aggregation, facilitating communication and collaboration between regional demand planning teams. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to incorporate market intelligence, sales insights, and business strategies into demand planning processes. * Collaboration with Business Units: Work closely with individual business units to understand their unique market dynamics, product portfolios, and customer requirements, ensuring alignment of demand planning strategies. * Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor demand planning performance, analyze trends, identify areas for improvement, and report on progress to senior management. * Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to demand and product planning processes to align with global best practices. * Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and guidance to demand planning and product teams to enhance their skills, tools, and overall capabilities. * Product Review Best Practices: Collaborate with product management/technology and operations teams to develop plans for new product introductions and product phase-outs, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with launch timelines.Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field. Advanced degree preferred. * Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in demand management, supply chain management, or related field. * Travel required: approx. 25%. * Demonstrated experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. * Strong understanding of demand planning principles, forecasting techniques, and statistical analysis methods. * Experience with demand planning software (SAP IBP, OMP). Experience with Power BI a plus. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations. * Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in demand planning. * Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures. * Change management expertise with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams through organizational transformations. * Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, IBF Certified Professional Forecaster) is a plus.Our Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
