The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and advocacy skills and the ability to manage a busy schedule and meet production objectives.Duties:Conducting research and analysis on complex legal issuesWriting memorandums, briefs, letters, and other legal documentsMarketing the attorney's and firm's services to prospective clientsPerforming discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of information for litigationConducting due diligence in all legal mattersManaging a schedule to allow for consultations and closure of consultations to meet production objectivesClosing consultations within the firm's range of 30-50%, depending on the practice areaTimely approval of invoices to maintain financial healthEnsuring support staff are fully utilized and productiveUpdating case management system with fees, engagement, trust, client information, invoices, etc.Actively engaging in personal and firm brand expansion through blogs, social media posts, board, and organization participationSeeking positive comments and reviews from successful client engagementsPerforming other job-related duties as assignedRequirements:5+ years of law practice experienceSuccessful record of mediation experienceSignificant and successful trial experienceStrong communication and advocacy skills, including empathetic listeningExcellent writing and interpersonal skillsExcellent legal research skillsJuris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law schoolAdmission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to WA BarSkills:Legal research and analysisTrial preparation and litigationMediationCommunication and advocacyTime management and schedulingMarketing and business developmentCase management software proficiencyEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law schoolAdmission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to WA BarJob Location: Everett, WABenefits offered:Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) plan with company matchingUnlimited PTO for Vacation/Sick daysPaid Federal HolidaysUp to 16 hours annually of Paid Volunteer Time Off
