The candidate will provide support to senior associates, of counsel, and partners in the Student Services and Disabilities Law Practice Group (SSDLPG), demonstrating strong research, writing, and people skills. Duties:Support senior associates, of counsel, and partners in the Student Services and Disabilities Law Practice Group.Conduct legal research and writing related to student services and disabilities law.Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Participate in client meetings and discussions concerning student services and disabilities matters.Provide assistance in case management and strategy development.Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure effective representation of clients.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to student services and disabilities. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California.2-5 years of experience in student services and disabilities law or related fields.Strong research, writing, and interpersonal skills. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Familiarity with student services and disabilities law is advantageous.
