It may be "accrual" world out there but you find solutions to any complex issues thrown your way As the Tax Accountant, you will focus on preparing a wide variety of tax returns while serving as a trusted resource for other departments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build a solid foundation in tax accounting, enhancing your skills and expertise. The life of the Tax Accountant includes: : Calculate income tax adjustments and compile information from multiple sources : Prepare quarterly Federal and State estimated income tax payments: File Property, Sales and Use, Excise and Forest Products Tax Returns : Perform research in multiple areas of taxation and communicate findings: Draft responses to State and Local notices and assist in Audit Defense: Analyze and reconcile general ledger tax accounts: Other duties as assigned For this role, come armed with: stylemargin:bottom:4.0px;margin:top:4.0px:: Bachelor of Accounting : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel : Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail In a perfect world, you also have a CPA or MST and experience with OneSource tax preparation software.
