We are seeking an experienced mortgage loan officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase. Responsibilities: • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction• Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements• Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision• Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements• Review loan applications and assess borrower eligibility• Evaluate creditworthiness and risk to determine loan approval• Assist borrowers in completing loan applications and documentation• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate loan processing• Maintain knowledge of lending policies and regulations• Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan process• Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners in your market area Qualifications: • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines • Current NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration• Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required• Understanding of loan originator software such as Experian, LendingWise, or Calyx, and Office Suite highly preferred• Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required • Must be willing to get licensed• At least 1 year of experience as a loan officer or in a related field• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Basic computer skills Compensation: $100,000 About Company: Pioneer Mortgage Funding Valrico is a mortgage brokerage that has grown to become one of the largest mortgage branch companies in the country.
