Purpose The Decision Scientist is an integral member of the Decision Science team under the broader direction of the Canadian Wealth Management Analytics team. The Decision Scientist will collaborate with members of the Decision Science team, the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and various operational groups across the business to deliver end-to-end analytical products. This role will be accountable for gathering requirements, determining most appropriate solution(s), and developing custom data sources and/or visualizations. This role also actively pursues a deeper understanding of key business drivers and will be encouraged to explore creative strategies to drive success across the enterprise. We are a dynamic, technical, highly involved team of data professionals who love what we do! Accountabilities Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Leads the creation and maintenance of compelling data visualizations and dashboards to deliver insights about the business. Works directly with stakeholders and senior management to understand their business problems and drives enterprise action through reporting and data automation tools. Answers complex analytical questions in an intuitive and understandable way, and confidently communicates the results to a variety of audiences. Masters our business and data environment to become an expert problem-solver using advanced data modeling techniques.
